Performing over 150 shows per year, Viele has put together a road-tested band of jam players, including Jordan Simms (Everyone Orchestra/Juggling Suns), Andrew Cusanelli (On The Spot Trio), Dee Miller (Da Rezerekt/Rowboat Casino) and Max Cappello.Fresh off of winning the 2016 New England Music Awards for “Performer of The Year” and “Album of The Year”, Frank Viele is set to release the video for his fourth single off of his newest album, Fall Your Way. Denzel Washington to Bring All 10 August Wilson Plays to HBO

Oscar and Tony winner Denzel Washington, during a Q&A at University of Southern California, revealed that he will executive produce all ten of the Pulitzer winner’s plays for HBO, Deadline reports.Last month, Viola Davis confirmed that she will star in the screen adaptation of Wilson’s Fences, reprising her Tony-winning role from the 2010 production. Washington, who appeared opposite Davis in the revival and also won a Tony, is set to star in and direct the HBO venture.“I’m really excited that [the estate] would put that in my hands and trust me,” Washington said during the event. “That’s good enough for me. It doesn’t get any better than that.”The premium network would roll out one film a year, Washington said. In addition to Fences, Wilson’s ten-play collection consists of Radio Golf, King Hedley II, Jitney, Two Trains Running, Seven Guitars, The Piano Lesson, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Joe Turner’s Come and Gone and Gem of the Ocean.Washington won Oscars for his performances in Training Day and Glory, and was last nominated in 2013 for Flight. first_imgAhead of the November 3rd kick off date of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) 2019/2020 season, the Football Club Owners Association of Nigeria have enjoined its members to imbibe the spirit of fair-play throughout the season.The association said the sacrifices made in the last season’s abridged league as well as the achievements recorded can only be consolidated upon if all the member-clubs exhibit high level of sportsmanship as the league returns to the 20-team format.According to a statement jointly signed by its Chairman, Isaac Danladi, and Executive Secretary, Alloy Chukwuemeka, the Club Owners commended all football stakeholders for their patience and understanding in the face of the avoidable litigation challenges faced by the entire Nigeria football fraternity recently which affected the system. first_imgby Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow —  Has it already been that long?Twenty years ago, Wellington High School captured its one and so far only high school baseball championship when the Crusaders knocked off Topeka Hayden for the Class 4A title in Manhattan.The 1995 state championship team is being honored on May 7 between the Wellington High School baseball games with Clearwater. After the second game there will be a hamburger feed for players, coaches, managers and bat boys. Please let coach Mike Wilmoth know if you are going to be able to attend.
