At the time it was welcomed as a major boost to the tourist trade from that part of the world. It was so successful that the airline opted to maintain the service through the entire year. However, in light of these recent political developments, Transaero has revealed it is not confident in its ability to maintain the same level of service this year.Caribbean Media Corporation BusinessLifestyleTravel Russian airline suspends service to Jamaica by: – March 21, 2014 Tweet Share Share

Agarwal had gotten his series off to a great start by slamming his maiden double ton in the Vizag Test. Agarwal was on 86 at the end of the tea break and following the resumption, he neared his century in grand style as he blasted two consecutive sixes off Keshav Maharaj to move to 99. Agarwal notched up his century by steering a short and wide ball from Vernon Philander past the gully fielder for a boundary to notch up his milestone. Agarwal had scored over 2000 runs across formats in the Indian domestic circuit in 2017, he had admitted that Virender Sehwag is his idol. After such a magnificent season, Agarwal still did not have the key to get into the Indian Test team. An injury to Prithvi Shaw during the series in Australia, combined with hte loss in form of KL Rahul at the top, got Agarwal to open during the Melbourne Test against Australia and he ended the tour with two fifties. In Vizag, Agarwal went one better and notched up his maiden double century to help India win by over 200 runs against South Africa. Australian all-rounder Shane Watson roared back to form on Tuesday, helping Sydney Thunder to a five-wicket win over Sydney Sixers in the opening match of the Big Bash League at the Sydney Cricket Ground.Chasing 150 for a win, Sydney Thunder rode on Watson’s 46-ball 77 and an unbeaten 12 off 6 balls from Arjun Nair to seal victory off the final ball of the match.Watson’s knock was studded with six sixes and as many boundaries. The skipper also joined an elite list thanks to his swashbuckling innings. The 36-year-old became the sixth batsman to smash 300 sixes in the T20 format after Chris Gayle (819), Kieron Pollard (509), Brendon McCullum (420), Dwayne Smith (351) and David Warner (314).Despite Watson’s contribution, Thunder still needed 16 off the final over as T20 debutant Daniel Sams removed the skipper and Ryan Gibson off successive deliveries in the 18th over. That is when Nair and Aiden Blizzard came to Thunder’s rescue with the pair scoring 24 from the last 13 balls with both hitting two boundaries each.Earlier, the Sixers posted 149/9 batting first with England’s Sam Billings top-scoring with 32 off 21 balls. Nair, Mitchell McClenaghan and Fawad Ahmed picked up two wickets each while Watson bowled an over for 15 runs without any success.Watson retired from all forms of cricket after the 2016 World T20 with more than 10,000 international runs and close to 300 wickets under his belt.
