Visitors should give bears and wolves 100 yards of space.“The animals in Yellowstone are wild and unpredictable, no matter how calm they appear to be. The safest (and often best) view of wildlife is from inside a car,” park officials said as part of Yellowstone’s safety guidelines. “Always stay at least 100 yards away from bears and wolves, and at least 25 yards away from all other animals, including bison and elk.”If need be, turn around and go the other way to avoid interacting with a wild animal in close proximity, park officials said.More on Captures ‘Best Bear Fight’ Ever in Wild VideoChild Escapes ‘Serious Injuries’ After Cougar Attack in Washington ParkDoorbell Camera Captures Snake Attack in Oklahoma Stay on target 911 Calls Released: Kinkajou Sneaks Into Florida Apartment, Attacks ManWoman Bitten Twice By Shark While Swimming in Hawaii Bay last_img read more
