first_imgToday, instrumental rock-fusion quartet TAUK announced the addition of several new dates to their 2017 tour. Headlining some of their biggest venues to date in Denver, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston and New York, the tour will take them around the country before a summer festival season that will see them featured at Summer Camp, Electric Forest, FloydFest, LOCKN’ and more. In addition to their headlining shows and busy festival schedule, Tauk will co-headline with Papadosio in Minneapolis and offer direct support for Railroad Earth and STS9 for select shows.TAUK are touring on the heels of their latest studio album Sir Nebula. Released on September 16, 2016  via STS9’s record label 1320 Records, Sir Nebula was produced by Grammy winner Robert Carranza. Steeped in a juxtaposition of genres as diverse as jazz, rock, funk, electronic, ambient, and hip-hop, Sir Nebula emphasizes the band’s knack for creating progressive melodies and producing intrinsic soundscapes.Says guitarist Matt Jalbert, “We’re excited to be releasing our shows through Nugs.net so that fans can have a place to find high quality live soundboard recordings from us. We’ll be putting up some older shows to start, and will continue to release more shows from our upcoming tours.”For a sneak peek of what to expect when TAUK hits the road, the Oyster Bay, NY quartet have also announced that they will begin selling select live shows via Nugs.net.
