Shots fired in Lawrenceburg lounge

first_imgLawrenceburg, IN—Lawrenceburg Police and the Dearborn County Sheriff’s office are investigating a shooting inside Concepts lounge, a gentlemen’s club in Lawrenceburg, that occurred  Wednesday afternoon. The Dearborn County prosecutor Lynn Deddens stated the situation was an alleged robbery and shooting.Officers responded to the Lounge early in the evening on reports that shots had been fired inside the business. Investigators spent hours, documenting evidence and reviewing video surveillance from inside the lounge. Lawrenceburg Police Chief Donald Combs said no injuries occurred from the shooting.The alleged robber was captured by officers following a brief chase and now is jailed at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center.Lawrenceburg High School was placed on a temporary lockdown and events in the area were canceled while officers investigated the incident. Students were in the middle of after-school activities when the incident occurred just across the street.Investigators say they expect to release the suspect’s name and charge him later today.
