HEARTACHE FOR CARN IN ULSTER LADIES JUNIOR FINAL

first_imgTHERE was heartache for Carndonagh Ladies after they lost the Ulster Ladies Junior Final in the dying minutes to St Dympna’s of Dromore at Celtic Park in Derry this afternoon. The Carn ladies have had a fabulous season and can hold their heads high after going all the way to the final. The Donegal champions led early on thanks to two goals, leading 2-05 to 0-05. And it was a lead they would hold well into the second half. With six minutes to go, they still held a three point lead – 3-07 to 1-10.But the Tyrone junior champions came back and the Carndonagh dream of Ulster glory fell apart.St Dympna’s fired over a point, before hitting a goal and added two more to win 2-13 to 3-07, a three point win. The Carndonagh Ladies however can be proud for a club which only began ladies football a few years ago. HEARTACHE FOR CARN IN ULSTER LADIES JUNIOR FINAL was last modified: November 1st, 2014 by John2Share this:Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to share on Pocket (Opens in new window)Click to share on Telegram (Opens in new window)Click to share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window)Click to share on Skype (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window) Tags:Carndonagh LadiesDromoreSt Dympna’sUlster Finallast_img
