The Sun Devils held a 17-14 lead early in the third quarter when a very controversial call went down.Arizona State’s Merlin Robertson put a lick on UCLA quarterback Wilton Speight and was called for targeting. After reviewing the play, officials confirmed the targeting an ejected Robertson from the remainder of the game.Because the foul came in the second half, Robertson will have to miss the first half of the team’s game against Oregon next weekend.Video of the foul was released a few minutes after the call and fans were not pleased.Check it out.Arizona State LB Merlin Robinson was called for targeting against UCLA.
