POLICE LOG for July 27 OUI Arrest Woman Brings Caged Bird To

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, July 27, 2019:Police came across suspicious activity on Middlesex Avenue. Individuals were a family in town for a wedding looking for a hotel. Situation checked OK. (12:58am)A Shawsheen Avenue caller reported a raccoon was stuck in a trap in his yard. Trap flipped over so caller cannot release it. Animal Control Officer responded and freed raccoon. (12:38pm)A 2-vehicle crash occurred at Middlesex Avenue and High Street. Airbag deployed. Both vehicles towed. No injuries noted. (3:17pm)A Grove Avenue caller reported a woman has been sleeping behind her residence for about a week. She has also been seen sleeping on the Silver Lake fishing dock. Police checked area and were unable to locate. (4:28pm)A Town Beach lifeguard requested assistance with parties on the beach not following the rules. Police responded. A party had a caged bird. Since there is no rules against it, party was allowed to stay. Lifeguard was told to gather her information for the Recreation Department to follow up. (5:55pm)Robert M. Foss, Jr. (31, Billerica) was arrested for OUI Liquor. A caller reported a possible drunk driver just left Simard’s. Police arrested Foss in the restaurant’s parking lot.
